Sobre un conjunto formado por un cilindro y un pistón actúa un resorte; el cilindro contiene 1 kg de agua a 500ºC y 3 MPa. El montaje se hace de modo que la presión sea proporcional al volumen, P = C V. Ahora se enfría hasta que el agua se transforma en vapor saturado. Dibuje el diagrama P–v y encuentre el estado final y el trabajo en el proceso.
A spring-loaded piston/cylinder assembly contains 1 kg of water at 500°C and 3 MPa. The setup is such that pressure is proportional to volume, P = C V. It is now cooled until the water becomes saturated vapor. Sketch the P–v diagram, and find the final state and the work in the process.
