Descripción
Se pretende sacar una estaca del suelo por medio de dos cuerdas, como se muestra en la figura. Si se sabe que α = 30°, determine por trigonometría a) la magnitud de la fuerza P tal que la fuerza resultante ejercida sobre la estaca sea vertical y b) la magnitud correspondiente de la resultante.
A stake is being pulled out of the ground by means of two ropes as shown. Knowing that a α = 30°, determine by trigonometry (a) the magnitude of the force P so that the resultant force exerted on the stake is vertical, (b) the corresponding magnitude of the resultant.
